About Kamiya
A human-made of multiple potentials who don’t believe in the Format of conformity to rat races of any kind. Kamiya is a person who loves fashion, music, and parties and at the same time loves to be connected to her spirituality and roots. A person who is always willing to learn and recreate herself. A person who completely believes in herself without seeking external validations.
What are Kamiya some greatest milestones in her life journey?
Kamiya had started a chat show on IG called to hang out where besides talking about online trolling, she decided to help struggling small businesses by promoting them and there was an email she received from a man whose mother’s hand-made pickle she promoted. The email said that my mother did not understand English but she saw the show and she has only and only blessings for you to selflessly promote her pickles that helped them.
What is the learning from the challenges Kamiya has faced and how did she overcome them?
Learning is to embrace changes and one cannot overcome challenges without difficulties or without struggling. The real challenge will make sure that you bend and she realized that even iron cannot take a shape without hard pressure. Even a diamond needs to be cut before turning into a diamond. One cannot climb the mountain if he sees it as a struggle. Hence, the perception of the problem is the biggest factor. You can either see it as something scary and sacred or perceive yourself as someone who can cross that road without fear. She overcame all her challenges only after she realized that the biggest challenge in life people are scared of is ‘changes’ and losing the identity that they have lived with for so long and creating a new one. We need to understand that we weren’t born to be limited to just one skill or identity. That’s what being multi-faceted all is about.
Rather than an award winner, she would like to highlight herself as someone inspiring the youth to decode their potential and expand their skills because they have more skills than they think. From being a call center employee to being an international Dj to being an astrologer/ tarot reader and being a reiki healer for 11 years, she has broken the barrier of monotony and has brought together tradition and unconventionality together. She has risen above the game of identities and created multiple for herself. Living a glam life because of her djing and experiencing cultures worldwide, she fell back on her roots and traditions and their ancient history to realize that they cannot part their culture and tradition from themselves because if we do, what are we? And she intends to keep being a learner to see what abilities she has been blessed with. This is where she is being unconventional. We are nothing without our culture but to be successful we need to purge out of the box that we think is meant for us. Purge out and expand. DECODE YOURSELF!
Stand up for right, have the audacity to break the monotony and be always ready to start from scratch, always transform, always be a learner and dare to take risks, motivate people to have a voice, and MOST important – never forget to be kind and compassionate every day.
